Service Agreement

The following Dog Training Service Agreement is between _________________________ (hereinafter referred to as “Client”) and Espresso Dog Training (hereinafter referred to as “Trainer”) for Client’s Dog.

Payment
___ a.) Client agrees to pay in full – $___________ by _________________ (date) (prior to first lesson) OR
___ b.) Client agrees to pay in Two (2) Payments of $___________ – the First Payment prior to the first lesson by ________________ (date) and the Second Payment by the middle of the program by ________________ (date).

Training Services
___ a.) Client and Trainer are meeting in-person OR
___ b.) Client and Trainer are meeting via Zoom
Lessons begin ________________ and end ________________.
Client and Trainer agree to be on time to scheduled Lessons, or provide at least 24 hours notice if unable to attend. Client understands that they must spend time training their pet and doing the homework if they expect to see any results. Failure to do homework may result in termination of Training Services with no possibility for a refund.
Trainer agrees to provide training services that are reliable, ethical, and efficient. Trainer agrees to continue learning so that Client may get the best advice for as long as their Training Services last.

Photo and Video Agreement
___ Both Client and Dog may be included in photos and videos on Social Media sites such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc. Client understands photos and videos may be used for tutorials, entertainment and/or ads. All photos and videos taken during training are property of Espresso Pet Training.
___ Only Dog may be included in photos and videos on Social Media sites such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc. Client understands photos and videos may be used for tutorials, entertainment, and/or ads. All photos and videos taken during training are property of Espresso Pet Training.
___ Neither Dog nor Client can be included in photos and videos on Social Media sites such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.

Cancellations & Refunds
a.) Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours BEFORE the cancelled training lesson. Any late cancellations (within 24 hours of your cancelled lesson) will incur a cancellation fee of $25 that must be paid within two (2) week of the cancelled lesson.
Trainer may cancel at any time if
(1) Trainer decides Pet is dangerous to Trainer or other animals or people, or
(2) Client violates any part of this Agreement, or
(3) Any other reason Trainer feels is necessary to end scheduled lessons.

b.) Refunds are given on a case-by-case basis, and not guaranteed.
Client agrees to reach out to Trainer if they believe they are eligible for a refund.

Liability
Espresso Pet Training is not liable for any damages that are caused by Dog. Client is solely responsible for any expenses, damages, or injuries that Dog causes to any property, livestock, dogs, animals, or people. Client understands that dogs are animals, and cannot be 100% predictable, and safety measures must be put in place for dangerous dogs.
Client agrees to list any injuries, medications, or allergies the dog has so Trainer can fine tune training to Dog. If Client fails to warn Trainer of an allergy, medication, or injury, Trainer does not take any responsibility for any treats given or activities done that might irritate an injury or surgery site (such as long walks, repetitive Sits and Downs, etc.). Client assumes all responsibility for their own pet’s health.
